Finisterre Home Collection

Under the concept of ‘Total Living’, a pure fashion brand is interrogated initially by deconstructing their DNA and reframing it into a home collection, inspired by the brand's profile.

Finisterre a British eco-luxury outwear is the brand that inspires the collection. The brand has sustainability at heart and therefore is a concept that strongly informs the furniture pieces and materials included in the collection.

Finisterre is an outwear brand, the connections between the indoors and the outdoors are explored. This spatial boundary influences the choice of layout, colours, materials and lighting to cohesively integrate both spaces.

With these two concepts at hand, a set of furniture, lighting and tapestry pieces were gathered and tailored to match into Finisterre ethos of sustainability, community and circularity.

The basis on which the furniture was curated considers mainly the day to day of a typical client, their different mindset and rituals and furniture pieces were curated to accommodate such activities (i.e. woodwork table, outdoor furniture, modular furniture and more).

For those, a list of materials was selected based on the research done in alternative waste and organic materials, constantly trying to reduce the carbon footprint in all the pieces to be produced. The craftsmanship is visible in the furniture detailing, with stitching and joinery highlighted and apparent.
